As your new products enter the marketplace in high volume, the lack of reliability may be discovered too late. MTBF or FIT numbers derived from part count methods are often unreliable in their predictions and seldom predict reliability for specific end use environments. Product reliability must be designed into the product and AES has the experience in the use of HALT for product reliability improvement and HASS, in the design environment, to empirically determine product reliability.
